Our couses are thought to satisfy the different needs of our associated, to comply with their capabilities and expectations.

After a first approach you can decide if you want to follow Paul Cayard's footstep, or to stay with us enjoing our crusises, or become an instructor, or to join our regatta team, or....it is up to you...

We do not want to offer you simply some "lessons" but, we want to give you the opportunity to exploit your experience and to grow together with us in line with the spirit of our group.

Our proposals

1°) beginners

For those who never stepped onto a boat, for beginners with a limited experience. We will take you by the hand giving you a basic knowledge about the boat and manoeuvres. The course consists of 4 daily lessons, from 9 am to 17pm. We will first sail and practise and afterward, directly onboard or in the club house, talk about theory. We will practice and tell you about: different type of sailing boats, winds, sails, how to tack, to gybe, basic knots.

2°) advanced

For those who already participated to the beginners course or for a little bit more experienced people, who want to go deeper and enahance their skill in order to become more confident in leading a boat and a crew. We suggest this course to those who want to get the nautical licence. As the beginners one, this course consists of 4 daily lessons, from 9 to 17 with theory and practice. We will talk and practise about mooring and unmooring, how to manage the crew when sailing and during manoeuvres, safety, equipment and maintenance, sails best performances, rudiments about meteorology and how to chart a course.

3°) SPI

The aim of the course is to increase your knowledge about sails. We will explain you how to fit and to manage the spinnaker under different wind conditions in order to obtain the best performance. This course is dedicated to already experienced sailors who want to improve their skill further. Theory will be limited to the preparation of the boat for sailing with the spinnaker.

4°) regatta

For all those who participated to the above courses or already experienced sailors. We suggest this course to those who want to learn how to achieve the best performance and to approach competition. It consists of training sessions, pre-regatta training and regattas. Will see how to regulate the mast and sails at the best, how to manage the spinnaker, will talk about peeling, stability, navigation and regatta rules and roles.
It goes without saying that this course will be held only during "regattas period", i.e. from September up to April.
